The Proem (The Prayer Poem) By Will (in a doorway)

O, bring to me of God’s wind.
Cleanse my soul, for I have sinned.
Bring to me of God’s fire.
Lift me up, take me higher.

Bring to me of God known.
In my heart, have it grown.
Bring to me of God’s might.
Turn my darkness into light.
